Children at Howwood Primary have sent thank-you cards to key workers and shop staff to praise them for their efforts over the past year.
The primary three pupils made the colourful greetings as part of an Acts of Kindness project. They have been exploring various ways to thank local heroes for supporting their community during the Covid pandemic.
Cards were sent to staff at the likes of food shops and pharmacies, as well as those at St Vincent’s Hospice and the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
A spokesperson for Howwood Primary said: “Kindness is one of our school values and we were so pleased that we managed to make people feel special at this difficult time.”
