POLICE are on the trail of vandals who smashed the wing mirrors of two cars in Renfrew.
A member of the public reported the incident after hearing banging noises in Paisley Road at around 5.45pm on Monday.
The witness spotted a group of around nine youths in the street, before the owners of a Ford Fiesta and Renault Cleo discovered their cars had been damaged.
Police believe youths aged between 13 and 16 are responsible.
