FOUR men have been charged after police recovered drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds in Lochwinnoch.

Officers armed with a search warrant swooped on a property in Crookhill Gardens at around 5.30pm on Friday.

A number of cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of around £23,000, were seized by police.

Four men, aged 17, 23, 45 and 48, were arrested and charged with drug offences.

A police spokesperson said all four suspects were due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
