A MAN has been charged with serious assault following a disturbance in Erskine.
The 24-year-old suspect reportedly attacked a 22-year-old man with a bottle outside Bargarran shopping centre at around 12.30am on Monday.
Police said the younger man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, for treatment to injuries to his head and later released.
The suspect was arrested by officers on Tuesday and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
