NAVAL power will be on display in Renfrew this week as part of a major multinational military exercise.
Warships will sail along the River Clyde to arrive at King George V Docks as Exercise Strike Warrior gets underway.
One of the largest military exercises of its kind in Europe, the UK-led multinational exercise will run from Saturday until Thursday, May 20.
A total of 10 nations are due to take part in the event, which will see 31 warships, three submarines, 150 aircraft and more than 13,000 military personnel involved at military ranges and maritime exercise areas.
The exercise brings together all three UK Armed Forces – the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force – along with other participating countries to provide high quality training opportunities and improve joint operations between the UK and its allies.
