POLICE have appealed for information after hundreds of pounds worth of valuables were stolen from a house in Renfrew.
The theft took place in Renfield Street sometime between Monday and around 5pm on Tuesday when the resident returned to his home.
On arrival, he discovered that his front door had been forced open and among the goods taken was a television.
Police have urged witnesses or anyone with information to call them on 101.
