POLICE are appealing for information after a man was punched in the face in a Renfrewshire street.
The 32-year-old victim had been looking at his mobile phone when the unprovoked assault took place in Neilston Road, Paisley, at around 8.20pm last night.
His attacker was wearing a blue jacket with the hood up and a dark-coloured face covering.
Police said the victim did not need hospital treatment.
Enquiries are ongoing and footage from CCTV cameras is being reviewed as part of the police investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call officers on 101.
