POLICE are on the trail of a crook who stole a car from a Renfrewshire street.
The Ford Fiesta ST was taken from Montgomery Road, in the Gallowhill area of Paisley, at around 2.15am this morning.
Residents noticed their 46-year-old neighbour's car had disappeared from the street after hearing a loud noise outside their homes a few minutes earlier.
Police said the stolen vehicle has a number 14 plate.
Anyone with information is asked to call officers on 101.
