POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a dog died in a hit-and-run incident in Houston.
The mini labradoodle was killed after being struck by a white van in Crosslee Road, near Houston Primary, at around 1.45pm on Thursday, May 6.
Police said the van failed to stop after colliding with the pooch, which had been on a walk with its owner.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident is asked to call officers on 101, citing crime number KB00810521.
