Youngsters in Erskine enjoyed some colourful fun as they took part in a race with a difference.
The playground at Barsail Primary School resembled a rainbow during the Colour Run obstacle course.
Children tackled a variety of hurdles while being pelted with powder paint.
The messy fun was organised by Renfrewshire Leisure as part of the school’s Health Week programme, which promoted physical wellbeing.
Emma Mavers, headteacher at Barsail Primary, told The Gazette: “Each class took part and staff embraced it too.
“The event was supported by our Active Schools team, who ensured that all of the children had a ball. The smiles and laughter said it all.
“This was a first for our school but we are keen to continue to provide fun, innovative activities for the children.”
