LIBRARY staff in Renfrewshire are invited to showcase their achievements for the chance to win £5,000.
The Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) has launched a new awards initiative to celebrate library heroes.
It aims to reward a library team which has delivered exceptional innovation and service design between January 2020 and now.
Pamela Tulloch, SLIC chief executive, said: “Library teams have made real progress in modernising services to support a response to Covid-19 and to our transition out of lockdown.
“We are pleased to shine a light on initiatives that have made a real difference to communities during this time.”
Entries must be submitted by September 6 and an independent panel of judges will choose the winning team, to be announced in November.
