TWO men have been charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Renfrew.
The suspects, aged 38 and 39, were arrested following a disturbance at a property in Paisley Road at around 2.30pm on Monday.
A 38-year-old man who was seriously injured was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in Glasgow, and is understood to be in a stable condition.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 39 and 38, have been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder at a property on Paisley Road in Renfrew.
“The incident happened around 2.30pm on Monday, 19 July, 2021. A 38-year-old man suffered serious injuries during the incident."
Police said both suspects are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
