Cops appeal for information after reports of assault on teen
Police investigating reports of an assault on a teenager in Renfrewshire are appealing for information.
Officers were called to Foxbar Road, Paisley, at the junction with Stravaig Walk and Stravaig Path, at around 3pm yesterday after a 17-year-old boy was left injured.
He was taken to the town's Royal Alexandria Hospital for treatment.
Police said a suspect made off in a dark-coloured Volvo estate car, which has a 2003 registration plate.
A spokesperson added: "Any members of public with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area or any information should contact police via 101, quoting reference 2061 of 26th July 2021.
"Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
