SUPERMARKET staff are stepping up to help a charity close to their heart this weekend.
Colleagues at the Morrisons store in Erskine plan to walk 10 miles on Sunday to raise funds for GroceryAid.
The charity provides emotional, practical and financial support for people who work in the grocery or retail industry.
Elspeth Roxburgh, community champion at the Erskine store, said: “There will be about eight or nine of us taking part in the walk.
“We’re setting off from the Morrisons store at around 11.30am and will walk along the waterfront, over the Erskine Bridge and then make our way back.”

Customers at the Erskine store can also leave a donation in buckets at the tills.
