A WOMAN has denied murdering a man in Erskine on New Year's Day.
Stephanie Bowie, 28, is accused of knifing Darren Russell to death on January 1.
The charge lists two locations in Erskine for the alleged murder – Barsail Primary School and a path near the Grill in the Park restaurant.
It is claimed that Bowie repeatedly struck 21-year-old Mr Russell on the body with a knife.
Prosecutors also allege that, before this and while acting along with 18-year-old Mark Bowie, she punched Mr Russell, made threats, kicked him, brandished a blade and chased him.
Both are separately accused of attempting to defeat the ends of justice after the alleged murder.
Stephanie Bowie further faces charges of having a knife, presenting a blade at a man and assaulting a woman.
She is also accused of acting with 31-year-old Gary Howieson in attacking a man at a house in East Kilbride on February 10 this year.
Howieson and Mark Bowie pled not guilty during today's hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
The case was adjourned until October.
