A JOHNSTONE hotel has unveiled a new weapon in its battle to bounce back from the Covid pandemic.

With the hospitality trade hit hard by lockdowns over the past 17 months, bosses at the Lynnhurst Hotel are hoping the latest addition to their portfolio - The Lowland restaurant - can help to ensure brighter times ahead.

It has been launched at a time when hotel chiefs are reporting a surge in the number of people 'eating local' as remaining lockdown restrictions are eased.

The Gazette:

Carlton Graham, operations director at Manorview Hotels, told The Gazette: "We have been planning a new restaurant for the Lynnhurst for some time and following a significant investment in the hotels’ public areas and wedding facilities earlier this year we are now delighted to unveil our new restaurant.

"We have updated the décor and created a stylish and relaxed atmosphere perfectly suited for all day dining. With a focus on quality, choice and amazing value we are confident the new menus will really appeal to our local catchment.

"Across our portfolio we are seeing a definite shift in customers enjoying dining locally on a more regular basis post-Covid and we are delighted to have new a restaurant that ticks all of these boxes in Johnstone now."

As well as experiencing The Lowland restaurant and bar inside, customers can enjoy the family-friendly food and drinks menus outside on the terrace or in the gardens – where dogs are also welcome.
