POLICE are on the trail of a man who racially abused a family on a bus travelling to Johnstone.
The disturbance took place aboard a 38 service bus leaving Paisley town centre at around 6.45pm on Thursday, August 12.
Police said the yob racially abused the family for around 10 minutes before exiting the bus in George Street, Paisley.
The suspect, believed to be in his 20s, is described as white, slim and around 5ft 9ins tall with short light brown hair and tanned skin.
He is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
A member of the public reported the incident to the police, who are now looking to trace the family and any witnesses who were on the bus during the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident number 3575 of August 12.
