WORK to resurface part of a major road in Renfrew will take place next week.
The repairs, which start on Monday, are being carried out on Paisley Road, from Craigielea Road to Porterfield Road, and are expected to last for a maximum of two weeks.
To minimise disruption, the work is taking place overnight from 8pm to 6am, with noise kept to a minimum.
The road will be open to traffic by 7am each morning, with the road surface made safe with suitable ramps and signage where required.
Diversions have been put in place, taking motorists via Paisley Road, Glebe Street, Sandy Road and Broadloan back to Paisley Road.
St Andrews Road and Albert Road will also be closed at the junctions with Paisley Road, while limited access will be maintained with Victoria Drive as works allow.
