A MAN has been charged with breach of the peace, resisting arrest and two police assaults in Erskine.
Officers were called to Park Drive at around 6.20pm on Sunday after receiving reports of a disturbance.
When police arrived at the scene, the suspect was reportedly abusive towards officers.
While being arrested, the 52-year-old suspect allegedly struggled with police and attempted to bite one of the officers.
It is claimed he also kicked one of the officers but was eventually restrained and taken into custody.
The suspect is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
