Teenager arrested after allegedly chasing people with knife
A TEENAGER has been charged with possession of a knife and breach of the peace following an incident in Linwood.
It is claimed the 17-year-old suspect emerged from a house in Kintyre Avenue armed with a knife at around 10am on Friday.
Police said the youth began chasing members of the public who had been peacefully protesting against the relocation of a person in the street.
After carrying out enquiries into the incident, the suspect was identified and traced by police.
He was taken into custody and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
