TWO men have been charged with alleged drug offences in Renfrewshire.
Officers from the Violence Reduction Unit, armed with search warrants, swooped on properties in Johnstone and Kilbarchan between 9am and 10am on Friday.
It is understood that powder, believed to be herbal cannabis, and tablets were found during the raids.
Police said the drugs, believed to have a combined street value of £7,000, have been sent to a laboratory for analysis.
Two men, aged 19 and 20, were taken into custody and charged with misuse of drugs offences.
They are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
