Hairst Street in Renfrew
POLICE are hunting a thug who punched a man in the face in Renfrew.
The violent yob assaulted the 22-year-old victim in Hairst Street at around 11pm on Saturday, after they had been involved in a brief argument.
His attacker is described as around 6ft tall and at the time, he was wearing a grey tracksuit and a Rangers FC top.
Police said the victim suffered minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.
Enquiries are ongoing and footage from CCTV cameras is being reviewed as part of the police investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call officers on 101, quoting incident number 4264 on September 11.
