A MAN has been charged with breach of the peace and resisting arrest in Renfrew.
It is claimed the 31-year-old suspect was kicking doors in the common close of an Inchinnan Road property at around 8.30am on Friday.
When police arrived at the scene, they quickly traced and arrested the man in a nearby street.
While being arrested, he allegedly put up a struggle, which led to two officers suffering minor hand injuries, although they did not need hospital treatment.
He was eventually restrained and taken into custody but was later released on an undertaking and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
