A MAN has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon following a disturbance in Renfrewshire.
The 37-year-old suspect was reported to police by members of the public for allegedly brandishing a golf club in Glasgow Road, Paisley, at around 3.10pm on Tuesday.
Officers quickly traced the man and he was taken into custody.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
