POLICE have launched an appeal for information after a woman was found dead in her Johnstone home.
The body of 61-year-old Elaine Gorrell was discovered at her house on Tuesday.
Officers have said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death but they are eager to trace her relatives as soon as possible.
Police believe that Ms Gorrell may have a brother called David Chestnut living in the Howwood area.
Anyone who has information about Ms Gorrell’s relatives is asked to contact police on 101, citing incident number PS-20211109-2124.
