POLICE have confirmed a body has been found following a search for a missing Australian man who recently moved to Renfrewshire.
Police had issued a plea for information on the whereabouts of 24-year-old Cain Poulsen after he was reported missing from Callander in Stirling.
It is understood that he had recently moved from Australia to Paisley and visited the Bracklinn Falls area of Callander on Tuesday.
Tragically, police confirmed that a body had been recovered in the Bracklinn area at around 10am on Wednesday.
Police have said the death is not being treated as suspicious and the family of Mr Poulsen has been informed.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact cause of death and a full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
