Festive cheer takes hold in Johnstone
A CAST of Christmas characters made their way to Johnstone town centre last week.
Cheeky elves, giant nutcrackers and even Christmas candles were among the characters who visited Houstoun Square last Saturday to spread some seasonal cheer.
The festive friends will be heading to Renfrew tomorrow, between noon and 4pm, to give out more tokens that can be exchanged in participating local businesses for special offers or discounts.
The event will give residents a chance to sample the best local food or get a head start on their Christmas shopping.
