Victoria Drive East in Renfrew
A MAN has been charged with illegal possession of a knife in a Renfrew street.
Police stopped the 37-year-old suspect in Victoria Drive East at around 7.10pm on Friday after a members of the public reported a disturbance.
The man was allegedly captured on CCTV brandishing a fixed-blade knife and taken into custody by officers.
He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
