The Tesco store in Bridge Street, Linwood
POLICE are on the trail of a thug who assaulted a security guard at a supermarket in Linwood.
The attack at the Tesco store, in Bridge Street, took place at around 7pm on Sunday following a heated argument about the man not being allowed to buy alcohol.
Police said the yob fled the scene following the incident and the security guard was not injured.
Enquiries are ongoing and CCTV footage is being reviewed as part of an investigation.
Witnesses and anyone else who has information are asked to call officers on 101.
