A WOMAN has been arrested after an alleged assault outside a Renfrew supermarket.
The disturbance took place at the Aldi store, in High Street, at around 10.30am on Monday.
It is claimed a 27-year-old man, understood to be a security guard at the store, was hit on the face.
Police said a 47-year-old woman was taken into custody but released on an undertaking.
A spokesperson added: “She is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
