A HOTEL chain has revealed some of the bizarre items left unclaimed in the lost and found from their hotels in Renfrewshire.
With millions of people annually staying in a Travelodge hotel across the UK, a number of unusual treasures have been left behind in its 582 hotels over the last 12 months.
Some of the interesting items left behind at the Braehead Travelodge include a 4ft orchard plant and a jewellery box containing valuable designer jewellery.
A trunk full of board games was also left behind at the Glasgow Airport Travelodge.
An Indian necklace made from £50 notes, a fully decorated Christmas tree, six large sacks of Quality Street sweets and a family of gnomes were also left behind in Glasgow's Travelodge hotels last year.
