FIRE crews were called to a Linwood skatepark yesterday after a bin was found ablaze.
They arrived at the scene, near Brediland Road, at around 3.25pm and managed to extinguish the flames before anyone was injured.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene to extinguish the fire and make the area safe.
"There were no reported casualties."
Earlier this month, The Gazette told how local residents had slammed vandals after an image of scorch marks and debris next to the skatepark was shared on a local Facebook group.
Anyone who has information about the latest incident is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident number 2059 of January 20.
