Kibbleston Road near Kilbarchan
A CYCLIST was taken to hospital this morning after being injured near Kilbarchan.
Police said the 55-year-old man fell off his bike in Kibbleston Road at around 7.15am.
The road was temporarily closed as medics established the severity of a possible head injury suffered by the cyclist.
He was later taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in Glasgow, as a precaution.
Police said no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
