Police charged two men with breach of the peace
A MAN allegedly tried to bite a police officer during an incident in Erskine at the weekend.
Police were called to Rashiehill at around 5.15pm on Sunday after receiving reports of a disturbance in the street.
Two men, aged 17 and 40, were arrested and charged with breach of the peace.
While being arrested, the older man reportedly attempted to bite one of the officers but was unsuccessful.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
