RENFREWSHIRE residents are being warned to prepare for another day of adverse weather today as the Met Office yellow warning remains in place.
The warning for snow and 'frequent' chances of lightning started at 5pm yesterday and is expected to last until 8pm today.

Commuter chaos as signal fault causes multiple ScotRail delays
A signal fault between Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow Central Station has caused disruption to a number of ScotRail services this morning.
The fault was reported at around 9:20am and has since resulted in a number of delays as rail workers race to resolve the issue during peak time hours.

Elsewhere, ScotRail are urging travellers to check their journeys ahead of time in case of minor delays.

McGill's Buses provide an important update on services
Transport operator McGill’s has confirmed that their number 32 service is currently not serving Kilbarchan due to the adverse weather conditions.

Street closed after reports of debris falling from building due to high winds
Police locked down a street in Renfrew yesterday evening after receiving a report of debris falling from a building.
Officers attended the scene in Manse Street at around 5.15pm on Wednesday and cordoned off the area for public safety reasons.
Police said a small amount of brickwork appeared to have fallen from a tenement building and landed on the ground due to high winds.
