TEENAGERS can party with their parents at a new music festival coming to Renfrew this summer.

The Electric Love event will take place at Braehead Arena and boardwalk on Saturday, June 4.

Music stars such as Joel Corry, Shane Codd and Tom Zanetti will take centre stage during the dance party.

The event is open to those aged between 16 and 18, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Julia McEwan, event director of Electric Love, said: “We wanted to create an event which would allow older teens, as well as over-18s, to come along and see some of the biggest artists of the moment in a festival setting.

“We chose Braehead Arena and boardwalk as it has the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space, which we can utilise for entertainment and traders and those all-important selfie areas.”

Tickets will go on sale on Friday and are priced from £34.50.
