A LIFE-SAVING piece of medical kit has been donated to a Renfrew park by members of a bowling club.
Robertson Park Bowling Club raised £980 at a coffee morning to buy a defibrillator.
It has now been installed in Paisley Road, near the skatepark.
Club secretary Jim Coyle said: “We must thank staff at Renfrewshire Council who agreed to help us install a power supply to the cabinet.
“The original plan was to install the defibrillator at the bowling club but the council said it would be useless if it dropped below a certain temperature, so a power supply was needed to keep it heated.”
The club’s social convener Liz Coyle and president Bob Murdoch are pictured above with the new defibrillator.
