FIRE crews were called to Johnstone yesterday evening after a garage was found ablaze.
They arrived at the scene, in Elm Drive, at around 7.30pm and managed to extinguish the flames before anyone was injured.
Police said the incident was not being treated as wilful fireraising.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene, where crews worked to extinguish the fire and make the area safe.
"There were no reported casualties."
