POLICE are hunting two thugs who assaulted a teenager in a Renfrewshire street.
The 19-year-old victim was with friends when they were approached by two men in Gauze Street, Paisley, at around 11.55pm on Monday.
After speaking to the teenager, the yobs then punched and kicked him to the ground before making off.
Police said the victim suffered minor facial injuries and was taken to the town's Royal Alexandra Hospital as a precaution.
The first suspect, who has a shaved head, was wearing a grey hoodie and dark jogging bottoms at the time.
His accomplice has black hair and, at the time, was wearing a pink hoodie and grey jogging bottoms.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call officers on 101.
