BOSSES at a Renfrewshire restaurant that is undergoing renovation work are looking to recruit more staff.

The multi-million pound investment at Linwood Farm will see a total overhaul of the site before it reopens on Monday, June 27 under the new name Farmhouse Inns Linwood.

Following the restaurant's closure in April, contractors have now removed the old fixtures and fittings throughout the site to clear the way for the new branding, upgraded facilities and modern décor.

The Gazette:

As well as the classic Farmhouse carvery and home-baked signature cake selection, guests will be able to enjoy an outstanding new dessert parlour, including an ice cream station with an interactive toppings factory, a fresh doughnut machine and a brand-new milkshake offer.

Construction is also underway on the site’s brand new internal and external play areas, which will cater to kids aged 3-11, even featuring interactive digital touch screens and entertainment machines.

Kendal Simmonette, general manager at Farmhouse Inns Linwood, said: "It's so exciting to see the changes happening at Farmhouse Inns Linwood, it really goes to show just how significant this refurbishment is.

The Gazette:

"Behind the scenes, the team are working hard to prepare for the reopening on June 27.

"As well as a number of chef vacancies, we're also recruiting for general front of house and back of house staff."
