A NEW playpark in Renfrewshire has opened to the public.
Children can now enjoy a range of equipment at the site in Morar Drive, Foxbar, Paisley, including a climbing frame, zip line and swings.
It is one of 11 playparks benefitting from a £1million investment by Renfrewshire Council.
Councillor Stephen Burns, depute convener of the infrastructure, land and environment policy board, said: “It’s brilliant to see the completion of this park, which is packed with fun and exciting equipment for children in the area.
“It gives them a great reason to get outside and enjoy the fresh air – and the work has come at an ideal time, with the summer holidays around the corner.
“Our parks and play areas are so important to families in Renfrewshire, which the council recognises, and that is why this significant investment was made.
“It is also so beneficial for families’ mental health for them to have somewhere to meet with their children in the community.”
