Two men arrested after incident at Johnstone golf course.
Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged assault at a Johnstone golf course last month.
A 49-year-old dog walker was left with a serious head injury after being attacked at Cochrane Castle Golf Club on Sunday, May 1.
Police said the arrested men, aged 28 and 55, had been charged and released pending a court appearance at a later date.
A spokesperson added: "A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal."
