POLICE have re-released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with an ongoing enquiry into a serious incident that occurred in Renfrewshire.

The incident took place in Argyle Street, Paisley, at around 9.10pm on Sunday, September 15, 2019.

Detective Inspector Ruth Simpson, of Police Scotland, said: "We believe that the man in the images may be able to assist us with our investigation and I would urge him to come forward. 

"This was a serious incident and we are re-issuing an appeal for any information in relation to the man in the images.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference number 2952 of September 15, 2019. 

"Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
