The iconic Coca-Cola truck will make a stop at a Renfrewshire restaurant during its Christmas tour.

In a tour promised to be 'bigger and better' than ever, the famous red truck will be parked at Farmhouse Inns in Linwood.

Visitors can pop by for a festive selfie, fun and games and more on November 29 from 11.30am to 8.30pm.

In this year’s 'winter market' theme, you will also have the opportunity to purchase personalised Coca-Cola cans to make a keepsake or gift for a loved one.

Laura Moon, who is senior brand manager at The Coca-Cola Company, Great Britain, said: “Coca-Cola has always been synonymous with Christmas, particularly the iconic Truck Tour and Holidays Are Coming advert.

"This year, the magic of Christmas is needed more than ever, and we are excited to bring back our famous truck tour to fans nationwide."

Bosses are hoping for as many visitors as possible to the truck as they will be donating the equivalent of a meal for a person in need for every individual that stops by.

The initiative, in partnership with food charity FareShare, has already seen 100,000 meals donated with the aim of this to be doubled.

Laura said: “We’re also extremely pleased to continue our relationship with FareShare and for every person that visits the Truck Tour, we’ll donate the equivalent of a meal on their behalf, supporting those most in need this festive season.”

Lindsay Boswell, CEO at FareShare, added: “We’re incredibly grateful for the support from Coca-Cola.

"Their donation will help us get more good-to-eat surplus food to people across the UK most impacted by the cost of living crisis.

"We hope as many people visit the Coca-Cola Truck Tour this Christmas so that we can get more food to people who need it during what are challenging times for many.”
