Police were called to an unexplained death at a home.
Officers responded to a report of a sudden death at a property in the Kinnaird Drive area of Linwood last Sunday evening.
There they found a 40-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing and a report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20pm on Sunday, May 14, 2023, officers were called to a report of a sudden death at a property in the Kinnaird Drive area of Linwood.
“A 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
