AN investigation into a crash that hospitalised three people remains ongoing.
Officers were called to a two-vehicle smash, involving a Ford Fiesta and a Seat Leon on Gleniffer Road, between Barrhead and Paisley, on Tuesday, June 13, at around 4.35pm.
Three people were rushed to hospital following the incident, while the road was closed for around eight hours.
Police have since confirmed enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 4.35pm on Tuesday, June 13, police were called to a two-vehicle road crash, involving a Ford Fiesta and Seat Leon, on the B775, Gleniffer Road, on the border between Barrhead and Paisley.
“Two people, the driver and a passenger from the Ford Fiesta, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
“The driver of the Seat Leon was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
“The road was closed for around eight hours and reopened around 12.30am on Wednesday, June 14.
“Enquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing.”
