EMERGENCY service crews are currently battling a blaze at a property in Paisley.
Officers say they received a report of the incident at around 5pm on Friday, August 18 on Lang Street in the town.
It is understood the area has been closed off while crews deal with the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 5pm on Friday, August 18, we were called to a report of a fire at a property on Lang Street, Paisley.
“Police and emergency services are in attendance.”
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We are currently in attendance alongside emergency service partners at a dwelling fire in Lang Street in Paisley.
“Operations control mobilised six fire appliances to the area after the alarm was raised at 4.58pm on Friday, August 18.”
