Renfrewshire school pupils were getting down to business at a careers day event earlier this week.
Erskine Waterfront Campus organised the fun event for students in their playing field, with around 400 children and young people from local schools and nurseries taking part.
There were representatives from the emergency services, including Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Falck firefighters based at Glasgow Airport.
The Army brought along a large inflatable assault course, which proved to be popular with youngsters.
There was advice on offer from organisations such as Skills Development Scotland, Enable and Bernardo's.
During the event, initiative Active Schools offered the chance for children to take part in activities such as archery and slacklining.
The children also welcomed visitors from a mini zoo, which included chickens, organised by business Animal Man.
Other organisations that took part in the event included Glasgow City College, the Celtic Foundation, Nurture Academy, CrossReach, Daisy Chain and Glasgow Airport.
Emma Heaney, employability mentor at Erskine Waterfront Campus, said the third annual careers day was "buzzing" with activity.
She told The Gazette: "There were lots of smiling faces and laughter.
"This year we had more games and interactive things to do, as well as being able to speak about future opportunities with the exhibitors which were on the tables.
"Falck were spraying water across the field, with the kids able to have a go with the hoses and soaking the cars. It was great fun."
