SEVERAL chippies in Renfrewshire have reached the finals in a major award competition.
It comes after The Scottish Fish and Chip Awards have revealed this year's finalists.
Making the shortlist for the local authority includes Sandro's in Johnstone in the Best Chippy West category, along with II Pescatore in Paisley and Sofia's Chippy in Johnstone both being nominated for Best Newcomer, and Paulo's Fish and Chips in Paisley along with Dominics in Renfrew in the Best Fish Supper West category.
Winners for the event will be announced at the Gala Final event on Monday, November 13, in Glasgow.
