A MAN has been arrested and charged following a three-vehicle smash in Paisley.
It comes after officers rushed to Niddry Street at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, October 10, after receiving a report of the accident.
Following it, a 53-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences.
He was set to appear in court on Wednesday, October 11.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 3.30pm on Tuesday, October 10, police were called to a report of a road crash involving three vehicles on Niddry Street, Paisley.
"Officers attended and a 53-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences.
"He was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday, October 11.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
